Mother Goose- Synopsis
Mother Goose is a baker, all covered in flour,
she's up every morning at a quarter to four.
In Fairytale Land the crisis is biting
but Mother Goose's pies are always inviting.
Patricia Goose, known to everyone in Fairytale Land as Mother Goose, is a baker of delicous pies. She lives just off the Plaza Mayor over the bakery with her two children, Billy and Jill and their pet goose, Priscilla. Little does Mother Goose know that she is the subject of a bet made between two fairies, Guapisima and Bellissima. Bellissima believes that no one in Fairytale Land is strong enough to remain unchanged by sudden wealth. Guapisima disagrees. She has faith in Mother Goose's goodness and so the bet is on! When Priscilla the pet goose starts to lay golden eggs Mother Goose's life is plunged into turmoil. How will she cope with her new-found wealth? Will she be able to resist the temptations of fame and fortune? Will the evil Squire Jasper succeed in his bid to steal the goose that lays the golden eggs? Come and see Mother Goose to find out!
List of Characters:
Mother Goose (the dame) has two children, Billy and Jill.
Priscilla is their pet goose.
Billy is a bit silly, Jill is in love with Jack.
Jack is the nephew of Squire Jasper (the baddie).
Squire Jasper has hopes of making Jill his wife.
Snatchit and Grabit are the Squire's henchmen.
Guapisima is the good fairy.
Bellissma is the bad fairy.
The Queen of the Fairies makes an appearance in the final scene.
Prince Charming appears in one scene.
A maid appears in two scenes.
Harry Pot Head, the notorious bogeyman of Fairytale Land.
Assorted parts for children and teens.
Backing singers, who come on to sing backing vocals whenever they are needed.
