THE END OF A BUSY SEASON - WHAT NEXT?

The 2006-2007 season has been a busy one...
We celebrated the 100th anniversary of the birth of Samuel Beckett with BECKETT SHORTS, sponsored by the Irish Embassy Cultural Department, and went out on a limb with Eve Ensler's VAGINA MONOLOGUES. We proved with both of these ambitious shows that such material is well within our capabilities, and we also discovered that there is a much wider audience out there to cater for in the future.
We also produced a wonderful musial evening in April, I LOVE PARIS, showcasing just how much musical talent there also is in the group, and we wrapped up the season with a good old belly laugh: Alan Ayckbourn's classic comedy, CONFUSIONS.

So what next?

Pantomime of course! This Christmas, James Duggan will be directing everyone's all-time favourite: CINDERELLA. Keep your eye on this blog for audition dates in September, as well as for the performance dates in early December.

But before that comes our AUTUMN SHOW (to be confirmed). Once again: WATCH THIS SPACE!

Meanwhile, get some rest and enjoy the summer - and see you again in September for our first meeting of the new season!

WE HOPE YOU'VE ENJOYED THE SEASON.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE MADRID PLAYERS!
